For over thirty-five years, Cyprus-born bridal designer Christos Yiannakou has been designing fashionable, elegant and understated gowns for brides all over the world. Themes of softness, tradition and romance are present in every collection, but his greatest inspiration comes from the materials. This season, hand-made embroidery from India and China, sheer silks and intricate hand-beaded laces influenced Christos  fashion-forward designs.

Christos seems to have a sixth sense for what a bride wants to wear, and his love affair with detail truly sets his creations apart. By combining classic and modern materials, simple and intricate decoration, and dramatic and understated design, Christos creates gowns that are as beautiful and unique as the brides who wear them.

Brides love Christos for his artistic collections, but designers admire him for his integrity. Christos insists on designing all of the gowns without the help of assistants in order to carry through his creative vision.
