- Keep a detailed schedule, with plenty of buffer time, for the hair-and-makeup team to avoid wasted time that will stress you out and bore your bridesmaids.
- Be considerate with your scheduling to avoid grumpy attendants. For example, your sisters sleeping in the same hotel should have an earlier call time than your local friend who is driving to your location.
- Have a great playlist to dance out your jitters and bond with your girls.
- Provide plenty of food. Your bridal party probably had to get up early and likely won't get to have lunch between taking photos and the ceremony.
- Have a special treat with your snacks such as popsicle cocktails instead of mimosas or a waffle bar instead of simple bagels. Just one special touch to make it different!
- Hang your dress up in a safe space so it will look great and you won't worry about it.
- Take some fun pictures to supplement your photographer's shots, but don't post them on social media until after the wedding! They'll be perfect for a #tbt post.
- Do some stretching, or even a mini-yoga session before getting dressed. You'll feel better when it comes time to dance.
- Have an emergency kit with medicine and bandages so any potential ailments are quickly fixed.
- Don’t put on your heels until the moment you have to walk out the door. If you need them for photos, take them off when you're done.
