Liancarlo's couture bridal and eveningwear collections are hand crafted from the finest European fabrics and embroideries. Each gown is conceived, designed, sewn and finished at their atelier in Miami, then shipped to the most exclusive boutiques and department stores throughout the U.S. and Canada. Each piece is sewn by one seamstress from its first stitch to its last, then embroidered and finished by a specialist specifically chosen for the style of gown using the European couture tradition.

Liancarlo was founded by Carlos Ramirez in Miami, Florida in 1981. After 25 years, Carlos is still the designer of both Liancarlo collections. Carlos' mother was a seamstress in their native Cuba. It was at her side where he first learned about sewing and patterns. Although his dream was to be an architect or a designer, his mother persuaded him to pursue law. He attended the University of Miami Law School on a full scholarship before deciding to start Liancarlo and follow his dream.

Carlos is known for his ability to combine glamorous styling, alluring fabrics, sumptuous textures and exquisite detail work to create Liancarlo's sophisticated signature lines. Liancarlo styles are made from the finest French and Italian silks, embroideries and laces. In 2000, after being approached by some of his eveningwear clients, CArlos designed a number of custom bridal gowns. In 2001, Liancarlo's first bridal collection was launched. The gowns were immediately purchased by Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as exclusive bridal boutiques throughout the U.S. The collection has continued to expand and is now carried throughout the United States and Canada.
