My love for fashion began when I was very young. My Mother was an amazing craftsman and we would collaborate on fabric and design for hours at a time. The level of her ability provided me with the knowledge to be able to evaluate the quality and construction of the gowns that I would one day offer in my salon.

My fashion career began when I entered into Neiman Marcus’s executive program in Dallas which provided me with an opportunity to work alongside Mr. Lawrence Marcus. He took the time to share with me the many intricacies of couture. My love and appreciation for this level of merchandise grew under his tutelage. I opened my bridal salon in Atlanta twenty two years ago and truly love what I do.

Assisting brides and debutantes in finding the perfect gown for their occasion is a remarkable moment that I feel honored to be apart of. In late 2009 I opened my second location in Houston where I decided to introduce evening wear in addition to bridal. My latest joy came with the encouragement and support that industry leaders gave me to rename my salons, “Joan Pillow, a Bridal Salon”.
Joan and Jon Pillow, marathoners and ironman athlete respectively have dedicated a percentage of their gown sales to the reforestation of Houston’s Memorial Park.

Our associates have an average of ten years experience in the bridal industry and are exceptional in what they do.
