Inside Weddings is pleased to present the following real wedding:
On December 18, 2010 Lexi Richards and Yoni Riemer exchanged vows in an opulent yet personal ceremony followed by a lavish and festive reception. Both events took place at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
The tone of the evening was one of modern elegance, blending stylish metallic gold details with soft romantic touches. The bride and groom transformed the iconic hotel into their own unique celebration venue by constructing a series of tents over the ceremony area and surrounding spaces. Beautiful, champagne-colored fabric draped overhead and cascaded down walls. Crystal chandeliers and delicate candles hung from the ceiling. Warm lighting created a dreamy ambiance, though it would later be dimmed for the ceremony. Guests were seated in-the-round style surrounding an elevated platform and suspended Chuppa that had been fashioned out of dripping white orchids and forsythia branches with golden-yellow buds and roses. The aisle runner featured a patchwork of gold, caramel, and ivory fabrics. The couple even had a bridge built so the bride could make her grand entrance by “walking on water” over a decorative fountain, a permanent fixture in the hotel.
Lexi was resplendent in a Monique Lhuillier gown that featured a corset top and mermaid skirt. Her pearl earrings were family heirlooms and she carried a bouquet of white-, ivory-, and blush-colored flowers. Two bridesmaids donned stunning floor length gowns comprised of sparkling gold tops and long black skirts. The couple was married in a traditional Jewish ceremony.
Cocktail hour took place in a hip lounge area that was designed with lush black and gold seating, ambient lighting, and cozy carpeting. Afterwards, guests were welcomed into the hotel ballroom for the remainder of the evening’s festivities. Round dinner tables were adorned with mirrored tops, metallic charger plates, and towering glass-vase centerpieces that showcased a variety of snowy white and honey floral as well as striking greenery. Additional cream roses in low, gold boxes flanked the base of the arrangements. Once again, candles dangled overhead and walls were outfitted with billowing fabric.
The ivory dance floor in the center of the room boasted the couple’s monogram and rested in front of a large stage from which a live band entertained family, friends, and newlyweds late into the evening. Toasts were made, additional treats served, and, by the end of the night, a sensational time was truly had by all.
We hope you enjoy looking at the photographs of this gorgeous real wedding as much as we did! Photography by John Solano Photography and Nadine Froger Photography.
