Catering Presentation: Food For Thought

Catering Presentation: Food For Thought

Creative ways to present wedding cuisine.

Over the years, wedding food has gotten a less than desirable reputation thanks to dry chicken and over-cooked beef. But these days, delicious food is just as important to hosting a memorable wedding as beautiful flowers and a stunning dress. Choosey brides and grooms are holding caterers to higher standards. Not only should their vendors be responsible for creating delicious dishes, they must also make sure the presentations are top notch, able to fit in with even the chicest décor. The type of food selected helps set the tone of the occasion. Serving sliders and corn on the cob creates a casual air, while tuna tartar and goat cheese crustinis indicate a more formal affair. Here are a few passed hors d’oeuvres and buffet presentations that we are fairly certain must have tasted as good as they look.
