His Turn: The Tuxedo

His Turn: The Tuxedo

Say yes to the tux.

When it comes to choosing their wedding attire, let’s face it: most grooms don’t spend months flipping through magazines tearing out pictures of tuxedos the way brides do when searching for their gowns. So, when it’s time to select their looks for the big day, poor grooms can be pretty overwhelmed with the array of choices they face. What type of lapel do they want: notch, peak or shawl collar? Do they want a single or double-breasted jacket? Perhaps they prefer full dress tails? Would they be more comfortable wearing a vest or a cummerbund? Would they rather sport a bow tie or a necktie? Do they want to wear studs on their shirt? The list goes on and on. To help him get started, we’ve compiled a few different options from grooms, groomsmen, and fathers whom we’ve admired. Remember, he's under a lot of pressure to look his best, too. After all, he has to try to keep up with the bride!
