Actor Miles Teller & Model Keleigh Sperry Are Married!
Summer may be winding down, but wedding season is still in full effect. Whiplash star Miles Teller has tied the knot with model Keleigh Sperry in a romantic destination wedding in Maui. Editors Circle member Unveiled Hawaii was part of the fabulous vendor team to bring their big day together.
"For Miles and Keleigh we wanted to highlight how magical being on an island really is, as well as the natural surroundings. Keleigh envisioned ultra feminine and classic details: European lace table runners, scalloped edge gold rim dinner plates, crystal glassware and chinoiserie vases," reveals Lorrie Betsill Neilson of Unveiled Hawaii. Early on in the design process we came across a photo in a magazine of a living room with chinoiserie vases full of fresh blooms. It was effortless, chic, and stylish so we used the blue-and-white pattern as the jumping off point for the stationery and table décor. The open air dining scene on the lawn featured centerpieces using native tropical foliage and flowers in bright shades of peach, apricot and fuchsia. Cafe string lights created a whimsical feel, while the statement round circle bar piece created a celebratory atmosphere, along with a family-style menu to truly encompass Ohana (aka: family) and the Spirit of Aloha.
Despite the tropical location, this was not a beach wedding. The couple chose to exchange vows in a Catholic church before their alfresco reception. The bride looked stunning in a sleeveless fitted bodice and modified A-line skirt with lace throughout the gown. The groom was dashing in a three-piece navy suit.
For the getaway drive to celebrate their union, the newlyweds rode in a vintage cream Porsche decorated with a verdant garland of greenery over the back seats. Vogue reports that Keleigh and her family spend every summer in Maui. Naturally, during their six-year relationship Miles eventually started to join the Sperrys, and both of the sweethearts fell in love with the island.
Following dinner, the bride changed into a minimalist, figure-hugging gown with a cowl back in order to dance more easily with her beloved groom. Vogue reveals that the couple shared their first dance to “If I Didn’t Have You in My World” by Vine Gill. The guests moved back inside for the after-party, where they danced the night away as Kygo – the famed DJ behind the smash hit “It Ain’t Me” with Selena Gomez – performed for the energetic crowd.
