Alexa Ray Joel, daughter of singer-songwriter Billy Joel and supermodel Christie Brinkly, is engaged! Her restaurateur boyfriend Ryan Gleason proposed on New Year’s Eve while the couple was on vacation with her mom’s family. As Alexa’s birthday is December 29th, there were many celebrations to be had. The future bride and groom both shared the news on their Instagram accounts. Unsurprisingly, Alexa’s mom and half-sister were also ecstatic, posting photos with touching captions as well. Judging by Instagram, it looks like Christie Brinkley will have a big role in wedding planning – we can’t wait to see the results!
