The Boy Meets World actress who brought Topanga to life tied the knot this week!
While Cory and Topanga got married on Boy Meets World almost 20 years ago (November 5, 1999 to be exact), the actress who brought Topanga to life tied the knot this week! Danielle Fishel and writer/producer Jensen Karp tied the knot at the Carondelet House in Los Angeles. The modern boho-chic style of the day was perfect for fall nuptials, with décor that beautifully complemented the brick walls in the building.
The bride was lovely in a short-sleeve lace gown and a long veil paired with a low updo. The groom donned a midnight blue tuxedo with black lapels and a rustic boutonniere.

Many celebrities were among the guests, including John Mayer, who both served as a groomsman and performed his cover of “XO” for the couple’s first dance. Danielle posted a video featuring segments of his performance on her Instagram. Her TV husband and brother-in-law, Ben Savage and Will Friedle were also in attendance, as was Lauren Lapkus, perhaps best known from Orange is the New Black and Jurassic World.

John Mayer wasn’t the only musician present. Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park was seated at the same table, and Alex Gaskarth (whose wife planned the event!) and Jack Barakat from All Time Low were also there to celebrate the newlyweds.

Showing that stars really are just like us, we’re given more insight into the big day thanks to the proud mother of the groom and her close friend posting photos of the event. Centerpieces appear to include ferns and other greenery, florals in a marsala and blush palette, pears, pomegranates, and eggplant candles in glass hurricanes. The sweetheart table was placed in front of a brick wall draped with bistro lights and a display of pampas grass and flowers.
