While sitting down with Jimmy Kimmel for an interview on his late-night talk show, actress and singer Mandy Moore started off gushing about the “Fab 5” from Queer Eye, four of whom were guests the same night. After explaining that she has since become friends with Karamo Brown, Jimmy asks if the culture expert made the cut on her wedding guest list in November. Though she admits that he did not, she has a good excuse!
“We got married at our house in our backyard with 40 people there,” the star explains. With such a small guest list, it makes all the sense in the world that only close family and friends would be in attendance. While we have already reported about the backyard wedding, which required the couple to cover their pool to make room for the aisle and guest seating, Mandy also shared more details about her reception. With a smaller list of invitees, the standard dance party might not work quite as well. Her new husband, Taylor Goldsmith, is in the band Dawes, and she asked him and the group to perform as a backing band for their musically talented friends and family. At the end of the evening, the newlyweds collaborated for a duet, singing “The Things I Might Have Been” by Kris Kristofferson and Rita Coolidge.
