Michelle Branch & The Black Keys' Patrick Carney Are Married

After nearly a two-year engagement, singer-songwriter Michelle Branch and Patrick Carney, music producer and drummer for The Black Keys, are married! The quirky couple tied the knot over the weekend at an opera house in New Orleans. The ceremony site was filled with stunning stained-glass windows and archways, and the aisle was lined with greenery and tall, golden candelabra. The bride wore her ombré hair down in loose waves, pinned back to one side. Her unique dress had a variety of patterns, leading to a uniquely ethereal quality when paired with the cold-off-the-shoulder straps. 

Friends of the couple shared photos and videos from the nuptials, the latter of which reveal that Michelle walked down the aisle to a choir singing “I Can’t Help Falling in Love With You” by Elvis Presley. Not much of the reception was revealed, however, there is a shot of the newlyweds dancing together outside as the guests hold sparklers. If the reception décor was anything like the wedding cake, we know it was elaborate. The four-tier confection was frosted as if there were strands of pearls adorning each layer, and then the entire cake was split in two and covered with fresh flowers on both sides, spilling out into a pool of blush and ivory blossoms.
