Michelle Wie and Johnnie West, executive for the Golden State Warriors and son of legendary NBA player and coach Jerry West, tied the knot in Beverly Hills over the weekend.
While she may have had to withdraw from the US Women’s Open due to injury, professional golfer and five-time LPGA winner Michelle Wie is still ending her summer on a high note. She and Johnnie West, executive for the Golden State Warriors and son of legendary NBA player and coach Jerry West, tied the knot in Beverly Hills over the weekend. Michelle and Jerry got engaged in San Francisco in March. The Golf Channel reports that the bride’s fellow LPGA golfers Danielle Kang, Jessica Korda, Marina Alex, Alison Lee, and Alison Walshe were also among the guests, along with NBA superstar Steph Curry.
The Hawaiian-born bride wore a floral crown of baby’s breath and cathedral veil complete with a blusher as she walked down the aisle with her father and former caddie. Her ceremony dress was a beaded, lace gown with a tulle mermaid skirt, delicate spaghetti straps and a narrow, plunging neckline. For the reception she changed into a sexier number with a leaf pattern and illusion details in the skirt. The groom and his groomsmen wore midnight blue suits paired with Nikes, a nod to both Michelle’s endorsements and the couple’s shared athletic backgrounds. See photos from the big day below!
