Miguel Got Married During Thanksgiving Weekend!

The lead-up to the big day as well as the nuptials themselves was covered by Vogue. Nazanin, who goes by “Naz” for short, reveals that she was very ill when Miguel proposed in the Dominican Republic. She also shares how they first met, back when they were both only 18. Miguel was filming his first music video and Naz was tasked with interviewing him for a Q&A for a behind-the-scenes DVD. “I asked him a question that wasn’t on my Q&A, which was: ‘All the ladies want to know, do you have a girlfriend?’ And he smiled and said, ‘No, but I’m looking for one.’ We exchanged numbers, and he called me the next day to ask me out on a date... and ever since then, it’s been one hell of a ride!” the bride tells Vogue.

The alfresco wedding was held at Hummingbird Nest Ranch north of Los Angeles. The bride reports that it perfectly fit their desired Spanish aesthetic. The fall fête was adorned with deep red peonies. Instead of building a new arch for the occasion, a brick structure onsite was decorated with lush autumnal florals. Wearing a soft lace gown with long sleeves and a keyhole back, Naz walked down the reflective obsidian lacquer aisle on the arm of her father.
