Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino from 'Jersey Shore' Proposed!

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has finally proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Pesce. The two were college sweethearts for four years before taking a break when Mike became a star of Jersey Shore, but they got back together not long after the series ended. They even appeared together on WeTV’s Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars. On the reunion series Jersey Shore Family Vacation, Mike revealed that he wanted to propose to his beloved soon. 

Yesterday, he made it official, popping the question at where else but along the shore. After getting down on one knee on the boardwalk in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, Mike and his new fiancée took some darling engagement photos on the merry-go-round. Not only is this some helpful inspiration for couples looking for the perfect location for their engagement session, but it also could provide a hint regarding where the pair will tie the knot. Is a beach wedding in Mike and Lauren’s future? We’ll just have to wait and see.
