Nick Jonas & Priyanka Chopra Are Married!

After a whirlwind romance that began at the end of spring, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are married! The couple had a weekend-long celebration in Jodhpur, India that blended the cultures of both the bride and the groom. The Mehendi was an ode to the host city and featured blues, yellows, and whites at the poolside event. Games of cricket and baseball helped showcase the coming together of India and America. Priyanka wore a 48-multipaneled organdy sherwani embellished in silk detailing, layered with two organza drapes. Nick wore a pale pistachio Banarasi cotton Bakhiya kurta, with intricate embroidery threadwork. "A Mehendi calls for joyous and exuberant celebration. Priyanka's outfit is a burst of colour. Nick's aqua is the perfect balance. They looked like a dream together," says Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla, the creative forces behind the event. 

Following the Mehendi, in accordance to tradition, was the Sangeet. Though it is of course a part of the bride’s culture, the fête lends itself to the groom’s musical background. Nick performed a dance with a group, as did future sister-in-law Sophie Turner. But the highlight of the night was perhaps when Priyanka took the stage with her mother. These pre-wedding events were followed by a Christian ceremony officiated by the father of the groom, as well as a Hindu ceremony.
