When the lovely socialite sister of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton got engaged this July, buzz immediately began circulating the couple. Pippa Middleton and her fiancé, millionaire entrepreneur James Matthews, have only been betrothed a short two months – yet, many have already weighed in on what the pair’s nuptials might look like. In a statement released by the couple, they’ve stated that they plan to walk down the aisle next year, but this is the only relatively solid wedding information the public has received. Of course, that doesn’t mean we can’t make predictions.

Pippa shot into the spotlight during Kate’s 2011 wedding to Prince William when video of her in a stunning ivory Alexander McQueen gown carrying her sister’s train was broadcasted to the world. Since then, the media has kept an eye on her, and we’ve learned a few tidbits about her personality. Pippa is also dedicated to a multitude of charities that span from raising awareness about heart health to childhood disabilities. 

Pippa and James are an incredibly active couple, participating and competing in a number of athletic events: they aren’t afraid of the elements and seem to embrace the outdoors. On the other hand, James is very much a traditional man – asking Pippa’s father for his blessing before getting on bended knee – and they’re said to be planning quite the high-society wedding.
