Phillip Phillips may have found fame as the winner of American Idol season 11, but he returned to his Southern roots when it was time to tie the knot! 

Phillips married his sweetheart of seven years, Hannah Blackwell, at Resora Plantation in Georgia last month. The newlyweds recently released a video of their wedding day, which features the song Phillips wrote with his friend Tim Bruns for their first dance, called "Dance With Me." The video shows the couple getting ready, having their First Look, and celebrating in a relaxed, country-style celebration.

The bride, who wore a Hayley Paige gown, told People that Phillips was thrilled to plan the evening's menu, choosing classics like country ham biscuits, shrimp and grits, and warm cookies with ice cream. For their honeymoon, the newlyweds jetted to Turks and Caicos.

"What I love most about her is she's my best friend and I can tell her anything," Phillips said. "We are fun. We have our own little language that we talk to one another [in] and it's weird!"
