Last week, tennis superstar Serena Williams married Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian in a romantic, star-studded wedding in New Orleans. Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé may have been in attendance, but the attention was rightfully focused on the bride and groom. Serena chose to share only one photo on her Instagram page, but her new husband showed several, from getting ready with his groomsmen to a surprise carousel ride at the end of the evening.
The bride wore three different wedding dresses for the occasion: a full princess ball gown with a straight-across strapless neckline that was paired with both a cape and a long veil, a beaded fit-and-flare dress with feathered details and a scalloped neckline, and a shorter frock in a similar feathered style for when it was time for her to hit the dance floor. Though she wore heels for the first dance, she changed into bedazzled sneakers for the rest of the party.
Serena wasn’t the only one to don multiple looks; Alexis changed his attire as well. For the ceremony, where he and his bride exchanged vows underneath a floral arch with blooms in warm hues, he wore charcoal tuxedo pants with a rich velvet jacket. For the reception, he wore a sharp navy suit paired with a black bow tie.
