The 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea has inspired athletes, sports enthusiasts, and even brides and grooms. Team USA athletes made history with 23 Olympic medals, including nine gold medals from Jamie Anderson for women's snowboard slopestyle, Red Gerard for men's snowboard slopestyle, Chloe Kim for women's snowboard halfpipe, Shaun White for men's snowboard halfpipe, Mikaela Shiffrin for women's giant slalom, Jessica Diggins and Kikkan Randall for women's cross-country skiing, Team USA for women's hockey and men's curling, and David Wise for men's ski halfpipe.

Audiences everywhere fell in love with Shawn Johnson during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, and she fell in love a few years later. Track & Field Olympians Will Claye & Queen Harrison - Engagement Session
After winning the silver medal for triple jump at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, two-time Olympic triple jump silver medalist and long jump bronze medalist Will Claye jumped into the stands to propose to Queen, a hurdler for Team USA. They had their initial celebratory photo shoot (see more here) at the Olympic Training Center to commemorate their love and careers.

Olympic Figure Skater Tara Lipinski - Engagement Party
Before she said "I do" to television producer Todd Kapostasy in 2017, we got a look at the figure skater’s engagement party in Beverly Hills, which was designed by her wedding planner Mindy Weiss Party Consultants. Olympic Figure Skater Rosalynn Sumners - Wedding
A year before Rosalynn Sumners earned her silver medal at the Olympics, her future husband – athletic talent manager Bob Cain – failed at his attempts to sign her as a client; however, when she was skating in the touring production that he created the following year, they fell in love. Nearly 15 years after that, the pair walked down the aisle as husband in wife in Palm Springs. See more images here.

Olympic Swimmer Janet Evans - Wedding
Olympic swimmer Janet Evans and her husband Bill Willson’s love story revolved around the water. They met on a mutual friend's boat in Newport Beach and they said “I do” at an aquarium in Southern California. See more of their celebration at the unique venue here.

Olympic Volleyball Player Murphy Troy - Wedding
Blair Tarnutzer and olympian Murphy Troy’s relationship was long distance for some time, as Murphy is a professional volleyball player who played overseas after graduation. While wedding planning, Blair was taking the bar exam while her groom made the Men’s Indoor National Team for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. They took home the bronze medal and months later, he said “I do” in the California desert. See their event here.
