Olympic gold medalist and broadcaster Tara Lipinski married her fiancé Todd Kapostasy over the weekend in Charleston, South Carolina. People magazine reports the details of the opulent southern celebration. The bride wore a lace gown by Reem Acra with an additional 20-foot train, and her blonde hair was styled in relaxed waves.

Jackson Durham Events brought in thousands of white roses and hydrangeas as part of the impeccable floral design. The ceremony altar was 12-feet high and featured 12,000 stems of blooms.

Tara’s broadcasting partner and close friend, fellow Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir, served as a bridesman for the occasion. The bride gave her friend a special crystal-encrusted boutonniere, which paired fabulously with his similarly studded shoes. As a surprise, his favorite song – “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga – played as he walked down the aisle.

Johnny wore a pale blue suit for the occasion and gave a touching toast at the reception, which he says was not prepared, as he wanted to speak from the heart.
