Watch Derek Hough Propose to Shania Twain!

It started off his wedding-themed performance on 'Lip Sync Battle.'

The professional dancer proclaimed his love for Shania – noting that he’s crushed on her for 16 years – before starting to lip sync to “From This Moment On.”

Did you ever daydream about marrying your celebrity crush when you were younger? Derek Hough got to play out that fantasy on a June episode of Lip Sync Battle. The show finally added clips from the Shania Twain tribute episode to YouTube, where the country-pop legend served as a guest judge as former Dancing With the Stars partners Derek Hough and Nicole Scherzinger performed. The professional dancer proclaimed his love for Shania – noting that he’s crushed on her for 16 years  – before starting to lip sync to “From This Moment On.”

The tune has always been a great choice for weddings, from walking down the aisle to the first dance, and Derek embraced that. Dressed in a tuxedo, he pulls Shania away from her booth with Chrissy Teigen and gets down on one knee with a very large (and very fake) diamond. He quickly pulls the star to a wedding scene, complete with a bouquet, bridal party, and officiant. He even carries her to the threshold of a house on set and two little blond boys come through the door to represent their fictional future children. Perhaps this will inspire someone looking for an elaborate proposal idea. Watch the full video below!
