After browsing through strapless gown after strapless gown, fashion-forward brides may look upon a dress with delicate straps or sleeves as a breath of fresh air. Once you decide to consider a non-strapless gown, the options are endless – from sheer, lace, or even opaque sleeves to spaghetti or illusion straps. Most designers include at least a few dresses with sleeves or straps in their collections, and it's possible to find non-strapless styles in most silhouettes. 

For brides who prefer not to wear strapless bras, gowns with sleeves that hide bra straps are a welcome option. Those whose religious or personal style preferences require modesty will find that many designers are willing to work with a bride to add more coverage if she isn't satisfied with the non-strapless offerings in their collections.
