Lead designer since 2012 and daughter of Eugenia founder Eugenia Vasiliadis, Barbara Joy Kavchok brings her fine art background into the design process for the Joy Collection by Eugenia Couture. The brand mission of zero waste design and gowns entirely produced and manufactured in the United States is perfectly in line with the modern looks of bohemian romance.

Highlights of the collection include “Blanche” – a two-piece ensemble featuring a crop top with crocheted flower details and wide-legged crepe pants. “Farrah” lives up to the namesake with off-the-shoulder flounce sleeves and soft graphic lace on a sheath silhouette. The “Hadley” style exudes a regal boho-chic look with a sheer angled bodice made from re-embroidered lace with a bateau neckline. Illusion side cutouts at the waist echoed the point d’esprit and aspirin-printed tulle that formed the trumpet skirt. Combining a contemporary fabric with a throwback silhouette, “Nikki” features striped organza in a full A-line silhouette with unique lacing over an open back. The off-the-shoulder flounce sleeves are detachable, allowing the style to shift from 1970s-era bohemian to a clean, modern look.
