Celestial Dresses from Alexandra Grecco Spring/Summer 2018
Thinking about the beauty of space and the stars above, Alexandra Grecco created her new Spring/Summer 2018 collection called “Stardust” based on this inspiration. Debuting at Bridal Fashion Week in New York City, these flowy gowns draw their designs from the universe – an incredibly powerful force to wield on one’s wedding day. “With every collection, I design our pieces to feel really light and effortless. This season, we have a bit of a celestial theme throughout, and the embroidery is just breathtaking,” says the designer. Brides will revel in the other-worldly connection they might feel with these new gowns.
“I wanted the beadwork to feel as though it had fallen from the sky and just dusted the gowns, hence the collection name,” adds Alexandra. “I designed this collection for the woman who appreciates a classic silhouette, but also has a bit of whimsy in her.” Dresses such as “Nova,” a crepe gown with a V-neckline and chic capped sleeves, “Amelie,” a silhouette with illusion detailing and numerous appliqués, and “Raiya,” a tulle design with soft silk lining are sure to impress women with a taste for simple and sophisticated ensembles.
