Claire Pettibone's Enchanting "Moonlight Reverie" 2024 Collection

Debuting her latest 2024 collection titled "Moonlight Reverie," Claire Pettibone Design Atelier continues to wow brides desiring whimsical, ethereal bridal gowns inspired by faeries and forests that are truly a piece of art. The ethereal assortment of couture gowns draw inspiration from the mystical realms of faeries and enchanted forests, showcasing intricate embroideries, glimmering crystal details, and whimsical elements in a subtle color palette for brides who wish to incorporate soft tones in lieu of or in addition to classic whites and ivories.

"I have always loved faeries. These ethereal creatures are beautiful and a bit mischievous. Lovers of nature, they somehow exist both in this world and in another realm, and sometimes we are lucky to feel their presence," Claire Pettibone says of her inspiration for the collection. "When I was a child, I would spend hours making fairy dresses from flowers and leaves and building tiny homes for them amidst the mossy forest. I grew up, but the faeries have stayed with me, and sometimes the need to escape the realities of this often cruel world leads me back to them. I have found a way, through dressing my brides and creating ethereal wedding gowns, to bring them into our world."

She continues of the inspiration behind the collection and intricate design details: "I'm not the only one with this fascination – many of our brides share 'forest fairy vibes' as a mood for their dream wedding. And so, it was a joy to create this collection of floral embroideries, shimmering crystals, and unexpected whimsical details... and to revisit my childhood love affair with the faeries." 

Meadowsweet 

"Meadowsweet" from the Moonlight Reverie collection by Claire Pettibone features colorful meadow embroidery with pink and green wildflowers, lace bodice, sheer long sleeves, and a flowing full skirt lined in pearl silk.

Thistledown

"Thistledown" from the Moonlight Reverie collection by Claire Pettibone showcases ivory meadow embroidery lined in pearl silk with whisper-blue wildflowers scattered throughout the flowing skirt and a sheer bodice with detachable shimmer ribbon streamers. 

Fujiblossom + Petal Gloves

"Fujiblossom" from the Moonlight Reverie collection by Claire Pettibone is a fit-to-flare strapless sheath gown of lilac petals embroidered on sheer tulle – shown with "Petal Gloves" highlighting a vine leaf trim and finger loops on petal tulle embroidered fingerless gloves.

Quill + Everglade Bolero

"Quill" from the Moonlight Reverie collection by Claire Pettibone is a strapless French Solstiss lace fit-to-flare sheath with lilac to ivory ombré silk, a scalloped hem, and long train lined with crinoline – shown with a long, pouf-sleeve French Solstiss lace "Everglade Bolero" with scattered crystals and leaves.

Everglade Mini + Everglade Overskirt

"Everglade Mini" from the Moonlight Reverie collection by Claire Pettibone showcases French Solstiss lace and subtle sequins lined in nude crepe, as well as ivory flower and pale green leaf appliqués and draped floral straps – shown with "Everglade Overskirt" featuring over 2,500 leaves and jeweled-centered blossoms appliquéd on the full skirt of French Solstiss lace (shown sheer, but also available lined with silk).

Lunaria + Crescent Veil
