Founded in 1993, the avant-garde luxury fashion house Viktor&Rolf was created by Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren after they graduated from the Arnhem Academy of Art and Design in the Netherlands. Their Mariage Collection for Spring/Summer 2018, produced in partnership with Justin Alexander, features couture looks in striking silhouettes. The majority of the dresses are exquisite ball gowns with voluminous and detailed skirts, though there are A-line and column styles as well – there is even a jumpsuit! 

The designers state: “We are excited to continue our exploration of the wedding dress. While designing, we are looking for something bold, architectural, unfussy yet spectacular, with an emphasis on a precise, outspoken silhouette. To support this vision, we favor compact, structured fabrics, and graphic, bold, outspoken embellishments." Starting with the silhouette, details are added to each design via ruffles, sequins, and handcrafted flower appliqués for a bold three-dimensional look.
