Dramatic, Romantic Bridal Gowns from Isabelle Armstrong Spring 2018
“Designing a spring collection in the dead of winter is challenging, so imagination sprinkled with a drop of fantasy becomes more important than ever,” says Remy Quinones, founder and creative director of Isabelle Armstrong. The 13 gowns all exude both romance and drama, perfect for a bride who wants to make an entrance.
The “Chloe” dress may appear simple and classic at first glance, but the ball gown features intricate embroidery with a floral-and-leaf motif, while the sweet cap sleeves are offset by a scoop and notched neckline. The low back and gathered, attached overskirt provide a modern edge. The “Connie” gown, with a delicate rose design on Chantilly lace on a sheer corset bodice and full peplum atop an A-line skirt, can be seen on the cover of the summer issue of Inside Weddings.
“Spring is a time for new beginnings, fresh with promise and desire, much like a newly married bride and groom, growing organically, day by day, with lots of love and care. This is the essence of our Spring 2018 Collection,” affirms the designer.
