Edgy Designs from the Houghton Spring/Summer 2017 Collection
When creating the spring/summer 2017 collection, Houghton designer Katharine Polk was inspired by the shapes and effects created by layering. The brand is known for being chic and edgy, and the new collection does not stray from this aesthetic. By layering styles with cutouts that have become a Houghton signature over jumpsuits, the designs add dimension and texture to the overall bridal look, along with a touch of sexiness.
While white and ivory hues are included with some of the ensembles, there is nary a traditional gown to be found in the collection. Designed with the idea that brides could continue to wear their bridal outfits past their wedding days, the looks feature multiple pieces that can be worn again.
