Edgy Wedding Dresses from the Rime Arodaky 2018 Bridal Collection

In an tribute to rock-and-roll music, bridal designer Rime Arodaky presented a youthful and free-spirited collection worthy of any Coachella showgoer. Arodaky's bride is a rebel at heart and is always ready to jump on the back of a bike with the wind blowing through her hair. So how does one translate such an inspiration in the bridal market? Arodaky did so with great success.

Floral embroideries on tulle were inspired by intricate tattoos on effortless dresses that skimmed the body. The 2018 collection had an airy lightness to it with floating lace coats and dramatic statement sleeves on lace dresses. For a theatrical flair, Arodaky played with oversized frills that cascaded down the sides of gowns. The collection also had a number of pants that were worn with little tops and exaggerated floating trains as well as slouchy trouser-inspired skirts paired with sexy tops. These are not your typical bridal looks, but it's refreshing to see a designer break out of the box and offer a collection for the edgier type of girl.
