Hollywood-Inspired Gowns by Randi Rahm Fall 2018
In an homage to old Hollywood glamour, Randi Rahm's fall 2018 bridal collection was perfect for the modern-day bride. These elegant gowns can easily transition from bridal to black tie with just a switch of a belt. The fall collection has a wide array of styles with one common thread: each gown is timeless and elegant. Her stellar line-up featured accents of black and pale grey for an unexpected twist. Rahm's collection is truly "American Haute Couture" as each piece is made in her New York City atelier from start to finish.
Rahm crafted a tight collection of unique gowns, with some that can even be worn in multiple ways; case in point: a handmade 3-D silk petal floral appliqué, crystal, and pearl embroidered gown with a removable frothy train. As the clouds of tulle are removed, a little lace strapless mini dress is unveiled – it's a three-in-one dress. Rahm also showed some risqué numbers, such as a sheer and embroidered jumpsuit worn under an embroidered high-slit full skirt as well as a transparent gown with delicate embroidery and crystals worn under a chic white tuxedo jacket.
For the glamorous bride, Rahm presented a long-sleeve lace mermaid gown with black accents as well as a strapless tulle mermaid gown with a multiple-ruffle ombré hem. There were also plenty of fairy-tale styles – most noteworthy, a hand-painted floral appliqué deep V-neck gown that was lightweight, airy, and oh so feminine. See these styles and more in the slideshow above!
