Old Hollywood Ensembles with a Modern Twist by Gracy Accad
Gracy Accad debuted her first bridal collection this season with a polished and refined line-up. She hosted an intimate breakfast at Jean Georges in New York City while her models strutted through the restaurant. Accad looked to Old Hollywood glamour for inspiration – Grace Kelly to be exact. This fairy-tale collection carries the bride through all the festivities surrounding her wedding day. For the non-traditional bride, Accad showed a high-low flounce coat paired with shorts as well as a pale blue coat dress with jeweled cuffs; these darling little numbers would work perfectly for a wedding brunch affair.
Accad's collection had a youthful and playful vibe with a silk jumpsuit featuring a draped cutout midriff and lace bustier inset. Accad also played with color, case in point: a very sweet pale blue hand-embroidered chiffon top with a silk satin organza floral tea-length skirt. But for those who opt for a more traditional look, Accad has you covered with a beaded lace and net ball gown showcasing a a silk-and-wool little moto jacket, as well as a strapless silk A-line ball gown with a detachable jeweled top.
