Resplendent, Regal Designs from Francesca Miranda Fall 2018
The Golden Ages, when prosperity and power ruled the land, was the inspiration behind Francesca Miranda's fall 2018 collection as she looked to the regal attire of the 16th century and gave it a modern spin. Miranda named each gown after a powerful queen to reiterate her theme.
The designer showed "Whilemina," a majestic metallic gold-and-ivory woven jacquard gown with a matching cape, "Ada" – a playful gold fringe over guipiure lace C-neck gown, and "Rosalind," a tulle ball gown with silk thread-embroidered guipiure flowers and Swarovski pearl embroidery. For the bride who opts for a modern look, Miranda created "Leonor" – an embellished, hand-embroidered jumpsuit with a halter neckline and an optional bolero topper. See these styles and more in the slideshow above!
