Vintage Brides: Watch 100 Years of High Heels

Video production studio Mode is back at it with their “100 Years of…” series, this time showcasing a century’s worth of high heels. Use the video as a guide for which decade features your preferred style; perhaps your “something old” could be a lovely pair of vintage pumps.

If you already have more traditional bridal heels, this blast from the past could inspire you to have a dreamy ‘50s-themed bridal shower or a radical 1980s bachelorette party. You can even take your bridesmaids out to a vintage store and all pick out a pair as a bonding activity, and then promise to wear them together on a girl’s night out. 

Though some of the styles are flashier than others (hello, ‘70s!) you might be surprised to see how many of the looks would still work in the modern era. If they were in a more neutral or pastel hue, many of them would fit right in for an on-trend bride.
