A staple of every wedding album are the photographs of the bride and her attendants preparing for the big day, or more commonly referred to as the “getting ready” shots. These photos highlight the bridal party getting pampered by hair stylists and makeup artists, while enjoying some time together before the ceremony. Not only are the pictures charming, but the intimate time creates wonderful memories between the bride and her friends and family. While you may not want to actually change into your gown or have your makeup applied outside, a lounge-worthy breakfast or brunch on a rooftop with a lovely canopy cover will lend a relaxed atmosphere to the proceedings and help calm your nerves before the ceremony. Crisp white furniture is a quick way to incorporate a wedding vibe into your setting; nothing illustrates “wedding” quite like white. If mimosas are too pedestrian for your wedding day, gourmet fruit popsicles with floral accents melt beautifully and deliciously once you pour Champagne over them. But if you’re imbibing, don’t forget to include some snacks – whether they are breakfast pastries or some of your favorite sweet treats. You’ll be nervous enough on your wedding day, no need to feel dizzy during your walk down the aisle.

If you plan to have some lounge time before your nuptials, be sure to provide cute robes or other feminine loungewear for your bridesmaids so you have something to hang out in before putting on your dresses. Plus, matching lounge ensembles make for adorable pictures that you will treasure.
