As couples are looking for more unique décor elements to add to their ceremonies and receptions, we're seeing an influx of stylish lounge furniture, decorations that bring the outdoors in, and other elegant details that turn a stylish wedding into an extraordinary event.
To inspire brides desiring garden-inspired nuptials, Edgar Zamora of Reverly Event Designers and Amy Child Marella of The Hidden Garden designed a couple sophisticated lounge spaces that would be perfect for a summer wedding. For the shoot, Zamora created a whimsical and elegant garden reception space inspired by the California landscape. "We wanted to bring the outdoors into our studio and celebrate outdoor summer weddings," he shares. The result? "An elegant garden wedding reception design with a modern twist using our new 'Washington' crystal chandeliers, 'Deco' gold accent furniture, and our 'Palermo' furniture collection." The florals designed by Marella featured bright pops of pinks and reds with natural greens and a sensational ceiling treatment that complemented the green hedge panels surrounding the space.

The custom seamless white flooring illuminated with striking crystal chandeliers set the stage for two seating areas – with a glimpse of the additional lounge in the background. The first featured a round coffee table composed of a marble top and a gold leaf base, the "Parker" chair from Revelry's Garden collection, and a white hand-shaped stool, while the second included "Florence" carved armchairs, the "Willis" garden sofa, "Mushroom" side stools, "Paris" gold coffee tables, and custom pillows.
The final space really set the tone for a garden-inspired wedding reception. Tall green hedge walls were decorated with lattice panels, and the ceiling was adorned with an abundance of greenery and unique chandeliers from Revelry's Washington collection. Clean, white furniture was accented with golden elements, and bright pink florals on tables and wall panels created a beautiful outdoor look inside the studio.
A wreath of lime and pink florals was placed on the green hedge and lattice wall panel above the "Palermo" sofa, which was decorated with stylish throw pillows. The custom seamless emerald green floor was also topped with gold "Milan" coffee tables, "Palermo" club chairs (seen in the image above), a "Deco" gold accent table, "Madrid" club chairs in gold and white, and the "Madrid" accent table in gold.
