Whether for the recessional or the grand exit from your reception, having your guests celebrate your marriage by showering you with confetti makes for a picture-perfect moment. But why just stick with regular old confetti? This is an opportunity to showcase your personality or lean in to the aesthetic of your big day. You could be environmentally friendly by using organic materials such as an explosion of flower petals, or express your whimsy by having friends and family blow bubbles as you and your beloved walk past. If your venue doesn’t allow anything to be tossed, don’t fret - you can always provide guests with sparklers to hold or flags to wave instead. Almost every possibility is going to lead to great pictures and even better memories.

Below, find some of our favorite pictures of the wedding toss – all from real weddings. Click each photo to find more inspiration from each celebration.
