Expressing your love for your partner can sometimes be a difficult task. As easy as you perceive that it should be, putting into words the exact feelings of affection toward your sweetie isn’t something that comes naturally to everyone. It’s important to discover what your “love language” is, and how you and your partner prefer to give and accept romantic sentiments – and what better holiday to make this a priority than Valentine’s Day?

When siting down to write out personalized vows, many brides and grooms struggle with designing the perfect set of sentences to artfully describe the promises they wish to make to their beloved. However, while sonnets and plays and song lyrics are lovely, at times, you need only a simple symbol to sum up the way you feel abut your soon-to-be spouse: a heart. As the mascot for Valentine’s Day, hearts are often considered simplistic and perhaps even childish, but they’re an incredibly sweet way to put every romantic thought, word, sentence, or song into a single shape. Looking to include hearts in your wedding décor? Flip through the photos collected from real weddings and styled shoots below for ideas, and be sure to click on each picture for further inspiration!
