Modern Wedding Trend: Mirror Décor Elements
While some engaged pairs opt to create a classic fairy tale out of their nuptials, some brides and grooms are looking for something a little more modern. With the rise in popularity of rustic and bohemian weddings, those who would like to eschew the “whimsical” trend and update their big day will select certain décor items that give their ceremony and reception a more dynamic vibe. As far as these certain elements are concerned, there are many pieces that work: angular shapes, clear or glass vessels, and a metallic color scheme are a few favorites. Similarly, mirrored elements are a crowd favorite when it comes to modernizing – and widening – your space.
Of course, you don’t just need to simply add standing mirrors to your ballroom to participate in this trend: there are many ways in which this look can be achieved. Mirrors can be added to a multitude of typical décor items to update them – tabletops, bar menus, even your “Mr.” and “Mrs.” chair signage can be made from a reflective surface.
