Kasey Angulo and MLB baseball player Tony Sipp met in 2013 when the groom was playing for the Arizona Diamondbacks. "I've never been fond of athletes for obvious reasons, but he convinced me he was different," shares Kasey. "He stole my heart." Sadly, when the pair met, the bride's mother had been fighting stage IV sarcoma for over 10 years, but Tony knew just the way to make his proposal extra special once the time was right. When his beloved was four months pregnant, Tony proposed in the hospital at her mother's bedside with a beautiful ring that – unbeknownst to Kasey – she had helped him design. "He wanted to make sure she was able to witness what she helped bring to fruition," smiles the bride.
Prior to their November 2017 wedding, the World Series champion and his bride-to-be chose to take engagement photos at a gorgeous venue in Houston, Texas. The theme of their e-session was sexy and sophisticated. "It had a boudoir feel to it, which is me through and through," notes Kasey. She wore a bold gown in a deep red rose hue featuring illusion details at the neckline and a sheer skirt with floral appliqués; her groom was dashing in a sharp suit with a custom bow tie. To make their photo album even more special, one darling guest in attendance also smiled for the camera. "The most memorable moment of our engagement session was having Zoë, our first child together, there," shares Kasey. "It was a moment we'll never forget."
