Last week the feel-good show of the summer, Making It, had a wedding on the season finale! One lucky couple, Talisa and David, were able to have their dream wedding on the set, and host Nick Offerman even officiated. The contestants on the show were challenged to create a cake topper, ceremony backdrop, and a wedding gift to represent the sweethearts. The winner was crowned the “Master Maker.”
In addition to the crafts made by the contestants, Etsy stepped in to help complete the wedding day. The online home for many craftspeople provided a bridal gown, veil, garter, and hair accessories for the bride, as well as robes and flats for bridesmaids, cuff links for the groom, and a dress, shoes, and hair accessories for the flower girl. Décor items, such as table numbers, an aisle runner, bride and groom seat signs, a welcome sign, marquee letters, fairy lights, calligraphy place cards, and confetti made from dried flowers, were also provided.
