Some brides (and grooms!) dream of having a big, fabulous wedding all their lives. Grand-scale events with everyone you know can certainly be a lot of fun and a great way to keep the party going all night. However, for many others, it is much more appealing to plan a smaller, more intimate gathering of loved ones to attend the nuptials. Often, limiting the amount of attendees is cited as a way to save money. However, it can always be a way to get the best bang for your buck. Instead of a standard dinner and well drinks, you can offer your guests a gourmet meal and premium bar. College friends you haven’t hung out with in years won’t be needed to fill the dance floor if you’re able to hire a top-tier band that will have everyone busting a move. There won’t be as many tables, so you’ll be able to go all-out on the décor. You’ll even have more venues available to you, and can choose a place very special to you and your beloved. 

Weddings can be a whirlwind for the newlyweds, and many couples report being disappointed that they didn’t get to connect with those who traveled for the big day. Naturally, with only your nearest and dearest in attendance, you’ll be able to have quality time with everyone – making all feel loved and special. 

A more intimate event can also lower your stress levels. Not only are there simply fewer things to organize with a small guest list, but also introverts will appreciate not having such a big crowd witness the vow exchange and other attention-grabbing moments. Typically, an intimate wedding means everyone who is there is someone you care deeply about, and vice versa. This is a celebration of love, and the day is sure to be filled with it.
