When dreaming of the aesthetic for their December wedding, Days of Our Lives and General Hospital star Brandon Barash and Isa Devoto – who hired Tori and Kelsi from celebrity wedding planning company Tessa Lyn Events to run their big day – had always desired a celebration that honored the Roaring '20s.
Guests found their seats atop wooden chairs with ivory cushions for the alfresco ceremony, which introduced the 1920s-inspired design scheme that would continue throughout the celebration. Arrangements of white florals and greenery accented with pampas grass were displayed on modern raised acrylic stands, and the floral ceremony arch showcased a similarly elegant design.
Isa was gorgeous in a timeless gown featuring cutout details on the sides and buttons down the back, while bridesmaids donned mismatched silk gowns in shades of sage green. Brandon wore a polished navy tuxedo jacket with a black lapel, and his groomsmen followed suit in smart black suits for the stylish ceremony.
Following the vow exchange, friends and family enjoyed a cocktail hour complete with his and hers signature cocktails: a Manhattan for the groom and a Negroni for the bride. Attendees then found their seating assignments for the reception written in bullion-toned calligraphy on ebony escort cards and made their way into the ballroom.
Given the country-club venue's classic look, modern details were incorporated throughout the indoor space to transform it into a dazzling Gatsby-inspired design that married the bride's love of boho florals. Tables were covered with crisp white linens and centerpieces featured florals in neutral tones accented with pampas grass to resemble a flapper's feather-filled wardrobe. Black napkins added a bold contrast to the otherwise neutral tablescape.
After dinner, guests enjoyed slices of an impressive wedding confection. To further illustrate the theme, the couple's four-tier wedding cake was decorated with an intricate, striking sequin-style golden design that tied beautifully into the Gatsby-inspired design scheme, as well as the black, white, and gold color palette.
"From the gold embellishments in the tablescape to the constantly packed dance floor, Isa and Brandon's wedding truly embodied everything that they cherish in their relationship: everlasting fun and romance," shares the Tessa Lyn Events team.
