Upon being introduced to Morgan Sarner by her sister, Trevor George was instantly captivated. “Our initial meeting was in a large group at a bar in New York, but Trevor was so taken with me that the next time he was in New York he took me to dinner 10 nights in a row,” Morgan muses.
Two years later, Trevor surprised his sweetheart by popping the question at Gramercy Park Hotel in the city and throwing a surprise party on the rooftop to celebrate. “I was totally surprised and had no idea any of this was coming,” she recalls. “It was the best day ever.”
Since the “Big Apple” is at the center of their love story, and Morgan always hoped to tie the knot in the metropolis, the couple invited friends and family to a luxurious New York City hotel for the nuptials. “It was always my dream to get married at The Pierre and have a classic New York City fall wedding,” the bride reveals.
They commenced the evening with a traditional Jewish ceremony that featured a touching musical element. “Our ceremony music was very meaningful to both Trevor and me [because] every song was handpicked by us and had a special meaning that was extremely close to our hearts. There was not a dry eye in the room,” she tells.
The bride also recalls a special surprise from her wedding team, who organized her bat mitzvah years prior. “Because we are so close [to them], they surprised us at the end of the blush pink [aisle] with a hot pink glitter heart, right before we walked under the chuppah.”

Remembering her adoration for the rosy hue, the wedding team also executed Morgan’s lifelong wedding vision perfectly. Blush florals and pink sequin linens as well as rose gold and crystal elements created the desired ambience of the reception. “My entire life I always dreamed of having a pink fairy-tale wedding, and that is exactly what we did,” she says.
Their wedding photographer captured the memories of the day, as well as the extravagant décor and wedding confection. “The flower design [on the cake] was inspired by the floral inlay on my dress,” describes Morgan. Guests received sweatshirts that were customized with the couple’s wedding hashtag and danced until 3:30 am.
The bride encourages all engaged couples to treasure every moment of their wedding experience. “Just have fun [because] it all goes way too fast,” she affirms. “I wish the night could have lasted forever!”
