"This wedding was the epitome of modern, edgy glam," shares Lusine of Event Du Jour, who planned the beautifully unique soirée.

Beginning with a garden ceremony at the famous "Swan Lake" setting at a luxury Bel-Air hotel, the couple's wedding guests were first introduced to elegant all-white décor for the alfresco service. String musicians played delightful, romantic music as loved ones found their seats and the bride and groom prepared to exchange vows beneath a white ceremony structure embellished with hundreds of vanilla roses and hydrangeas at the top and base of the arbor.

Once the pair was pronounced husband and wife, friends and family enjoyed a joyous cocktail hour before finding their table assignments for the wedding reception on a large black wall dotted with escort cards displayed on floating shelves and featuring an "Our Love Is Bulletproof" gold sign that went with the artistic favors presented to loved ones.

As they entered the ballroom featuring mid-century modern starburst chandeliers overhead, guests were in awe of the unique, modern, and glamorous décor in a color palette of ivory, gold, and black that created the romantic, artsy vibe the bride and groom desired for the rest of the fête.

Designer-inspired florals featured an upscale style with a touch of edginess. Long, gold tables with mirrored tops were decorated with black taper candles, floating candles, and short arrangements of ivory roses accented with black fan palms. Round tables surrounded by white-and-gold chairs were topped with exquisite towering centerpieces featuring the same ivory blooms accented with black palms that created a bold look throughout the space. 

The couple was thrilled with their celebration surrounded by loved ones. They witnessed the revelry enjoyed by their friends and family from a stunning sweetheart table overflowing with cascading orchids, which was situated in front of an artful backdrop with roses in manicured shapes surrounded by avant-garde style black palm art.
