While wedding events in neutral color palettes are undoubtedly beautiful – and very popular – we love when couples choose to step outside the box when it comes to their color palette. The pair behind this gorgeous real wedding featuring an outdoor ceremony and tented reception did just that when choosing a stunning, bold color palette.

"My clients wanted the wedding to feel sexy and sophisticated," shares Tessa Brand of Tessa Lyn Events, also sharing that the couple wanted "to represent their unique personal style." The esteemed celebrity event planner worked with the pair to ensure their desire was met with décor in a color palette that fit their vision. "We used deep purple and jewel tones as the main focus, which is usually unexpected as a wedding," confirms Tessa. "It came together beautifully!" 

The bride donned a lace dress and carried a beautiful bouquet of burgundy and antique-hued roses, accented with purple blooms and just a hint of greenery. The tones of the bridal bouquet were carried through the ceremony décor. Guests sat on either side of a carpeted charcoal aisle with lush verdure accented with deep red and pink blooms on either side. The spot for the vow exchange showcased a Spanish-style structure embellished with elegant roses in ombré shades ranging from pale pink to deep red.

Following the alfresco ceremony, guests found their table assignments on a unique seating chart showcasing ornate gilt frames arranged together in a gallery style. Once loved ones made their way into the clear tent adorned with purple drapery for the reception, they were in awe of the bold décor. A fountain decorated with lush greenery and rich-toned blossoms was displayed in the center near the obsidian dance floor. Tables were cloaked with lavender linens and topped with black-and-gold flatware, gilt-rimmed glassware, and elegant centerpieces displaying red, pink, and purple flowers illuminated with candlelight from votives and taper candles.
