On the afternoon of July 29, 2011, Jane Suh and Brian Weimer exchanged vows in Napa, California. A summery palette of lime greens, pale pinks, and glowing champagnes expertly blended the surrounding beauty of wine-country with the romantic ambiance of the occasion. The ceremony took place in the courtyard of an estate with old-world charm and rustic architecture. Billowing fabric and ribbon tied with bunches of greenery draped from a wooden trellis which served as the backdrop for the couple's exchange of vows. Light blue parasols were provided to shield wedding guests from the intense sunlight of the gorgeous afternoon. The bride was resplendent in a fitted gown that flared into a full floral skirt. Bridesmaids wore dark sundresses while the bride's sister wore a charming, rosy-hued frock. The groom donned a classic black tuxedo with a festive boutonniere.
An assortment of organic greenery and delightful garden roses were arranged in glass vases of different shapes and heights, contributing to the decor of the cocktail hour. While guests sipped libations and nibbled on appetizers, the very courtyard where the ceremony took place was transformed for the couple's alfresco reception. Round tables were draped with ivory linens that featured a regal golden print, and low crystal vessels held floral arrangements in the center of each. The couple's sweetheart table was placed at the head of the ceremony aisle; vines and blooms were woven into the backs of their chairs.
Following dinner and touching speeches from the bridal party, the festivities moved indoors. Guests walked a short distance down a path to an historic barrel room on the property with exposed brick walls and iron light fixtures overhead. The dance floor sat in the center of the space surrounded by a chic bar and multiple lounge areas. Colorful lighting and lively music encouraged friends and family to dance the night away in celebration.
