The shabby chic décor included a black-and-white checkered dance floor that guests enjoyed while listening to a live band performing Motown hits. “The band said that they had never seen a crowd respond with as much enthusiasm as our group did that night,” says the bride, who also admits that they actually broke the dance floor. “So I like to think we successfully achieved the level of energy we were hoping for.”
